This BBC News caption is both simple and brilliant

Bounce – Dog.

EARLIER TODAY, THE BBC had a real live dog on the news. Just because.

He was introduced with what has to be the greatest TV interviewee caption of all time:

But why was Bounce even on the news? Well, he was part of a segment about a new study, which claims that dogs can tell the difference between happy and sad faces.

Bounce’s owner, Dr Roger Mugford, was discussing the study, but no one was listening because they were so taken with Bounce. Can you blame them?

The petition for there to be more animals on the news starts here. We demand that there be at least one a kitten a broadcast, and nothing less.
